About Us
SFC started its operation from 2013. We have a good reputation, in the international market, as a reliable supplier of high quality fresh and frozen fish and value-added fish products to customers across the world. We export our products to over 55 countries across the globe, providing them much more than just a wide range of whole round fish. We have access to fresh and wild-catch fish from the pollution free seas of Oman, which are one of the best in the world. These fish are processed at our own plants with the highest quality standards. Our 4 processing plants are state-of-the-art (EU & US FDA approved and complying to HACCP standards) spread across the coast of Oman, with large freezing, storage and processing capacities. We encourage sustainable fishing practices, thereby discharging our ecological responsibility. Apart from providing a rich source of livelihood to the native fishers, SFC takes pride in having fishers as most of our shareholders – taking Corporate Social Responsibility to a new level.

We get some of the world’s finest wild fish, freshly caught from the seas of Oman – through our own
fleet as well as from natiuve fishers, and process it in our own plants.
Vision
We see ourselves as the largest producer of fresh & frozen fish and value-added fish products in the Middle-east Asia region by 2023 – by having our own source of fish and integrated capacities in fishing fleet, processing, canning and logistics; for increasing the value capture along the entire value-chain; by catering to satisfied customers across the globe; and be an employer of choice
Quality Policy
It is the policy of Sunrise Fisheries Company to process and deliver quality fish and fishery product with due adherence to International food safety standards, HACCP, internal and external customer satisfaction. The objective of Sunrise Fisheries Company’s Quality System is to ensure that all perform their activities in accordance with ISO 22000 : 2015 and demonstrate our commitment to all our customers. It is mandatory that all employees of Oman Fisheries Company adhere to the requirements including legal requirements and implementation of the Quality System in the entire organization. Quality control department, supported with qualified and trained professionals, are on continuous vigil to keep the fish closest to freshest. Food safety is the prime objective of Sunrise Fisheries Company. An ISO 9001:2008 and HACCP certified company with EU Approved plants achieves this objective by conducting a series of checks by integrated quality control laboratories.
